These beautiful Paper Mache Necklaces are handcrafted in South Africa from a mixture of painted and coloured paper beads, separated by small glass beads. Various effects are created by painting parts of the paper as it is rolled or by painting the whole bead after it is rolled, to complete the process the beads then have a clear coat applied. The necklaces are continuous with no clasp and can be worn as full length single strand or wrapped as a double strand.
